Patent examiner

Key responsibilities:

• Conducting examinations of patent applications to determine novelty and inventive step.
• Analyzing patent databases and scientific/technical documentation.
• Preparing reports and making decisions on patentability.
• Communicating with applicants, attorneys, and technical experts.
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in patent laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• A degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, biotechnology, IT, or a related technical field.
• Experience in patent examination, research, or innovation (preferred).
• Knowledge of patent laws and intellectual property principles.
• Proficiency in English (knowledge of an additional language is a plus).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle large volumes of information.
